BIO: I have pursued the twin disciplines of Kung Fu and TCM for 40 years. I hold master ranks and SIFU Titles in two Kung Fu styles and have been teaching for several large international martial arts organizations. My study of traditional Kung Fu led me to train in the arts of DA KE (trauma medicine), TCM and SHEN KUNG (spiritual healing based on Buddhist philosophy).
I traveled to Taiwan and became a direct disciple of master Yuen Ying Gao, learning herbal and trauma medicine. In addition, I became the sole inheritor of the Goa family healing methods and their only representative outside the 800 year old family tradition. I am a lineage holder in that tradition with the Lineage Name of:
Tao Te Shi Zhi or Messenger of the Tao.

While teaching Kung Fu in the early 90s I became aware of the East West School of Planetary Herbology which was founded by Michael Tierra OMD LaC. Upon completion of the course and graduating with the title EWCH, I mentored personally with Dr Tierra and applied and received professional membership to the AHG in 2004.
My Herbal Certifications:
EWCH RH AHG- EAST WEST CERTIFIED HERBALIST REGISTERED HERBALIST AMERICAN HERBALISTS GUILD.
Over the years I have operated herbal clinics in three states since 1996. These were private practices and all manner of illness was treated, not just physical trauma and martial art or sports injuries. I mentored several students who completed their professional membership to the AHG.
I was on staff and a teacher for the OLD East West School. I conducted online chats in materia medica and case studies. At the East West school's annual seminar in Ben Lomond, CA . I Taught a variety of subjects for 21 years. As one of East West's favorite teachers I have taught topics ranging from TCM theory to formula classes and Qi Gong. (See videos below.)
I maintain a busy teaching schedule involving training herbalists and martial artists in the arts of herbal medicine, Kung Fu and spiritual arts. I currently teach courses on Da Ke ,5 Element herbalism, qi gung and Taoism. I maintain a small clinical practice in addition to my other pursuits. I am a teacher and practitioner of energy healing arts and teach nationally and internationally.
We are in our 8th year of the online herb school and currently undergoing a revamping in order to make the material more approachable to new students.
we have 8 graduates of the ADVANCED program with three holding the advanced Title of KUNG FU herbalist. (earned after 3 years of rigorous training)
Currently (2025) I am Introducing a NEW beginner Curriculum in the 5 Element school.
I am writing a Book on Hit Medicine.
I am a Reiki Master in 4 different lineages: Terra Mai, Rand, Aurora and Japanese (Yamaguchi Sensei)
